Signora1897 ers, hari Rabu 11 September kemarin seluruh pemain-pemain internasional Juve telah kembali ke Turin dan berlatih di Vinovo. Mereka melakukan warm-down (semacam latihan ringan pelemasan otot) sedangkan mereka yang bukan, melakukan pertandingan persahabatan ringan dengan tim Serie D Borgomanero dan menang 7-0 berkat gol-gol Carlos Tevez (2), Fabio Quagliarella (2), Fernando Llorente, Sebastian Giovinco dan Ouasim Bouy.
Keesokan harinya, yaitu hari Kamis 12 September kemarin, sesi latihan difokuskan kepada persiapan taktik untuk menghadapi Inter Milan Sabtu ini. Pelatih Antonio Conte kemudian akan menjalani konferensi pers hari ini Jum’at, 13 September jam 15.00 CET (atau 20.00 WIB).

Kwadwo Asamoah, yang membela Ghana hari Jum’at minggu lalu tetapi tidak diberangkatkan Ghana (thanks Ghana!) ke Jepang untuk pertandingan persahabatan Jepang-Ghana tanggal 10 September, diwawancara oleh Cristina Ciabotto, JTV, hari Kamis kemarin:
“The group’s been bolstered by the arrival of players who have shown great personality, both on and off the field. We know that it will be a difficult year, and that’s why we worked even harder over the summer in order to prepare ourselves. We’re aware of our strengths and know that if we apply our spirit and ruthless approach we can once again achieve important targets.”
“Inter are a strong side, who also began well last season. I’m expecting a good game, but we mustn’t think about them, just ourselves. I’m happy with how my Juventus experience is going. I’ve won a Scudetto title and two Super Cups in the space of a year. I’ve always got on well with everyone, this team is like a family.”
Ada dua inti yang penulis dapatkan dari kalimat-kalimat di atas: Pertama, Asa mengatakan bahwa Inter Milan meraih hasil baik di dua pertandingan pertama tetapi Juve akan fokus terhadap timnya sendiri. Ini menyiratkan bahwa apabila para pemain fokus ke permainan sendiri dan menggunakan seluruh kemampuan yang ada, seharusnya (menurut penulis lho yaa) Juve akan dapat mengatasi Inter Milan.
Kedua, Asa menekankan bahwa tim Juve ini bagaikan keluarga, yang untuk kesekian kalinya diucapkan oleh pemain-pemain Juve. Sepertinya, tim kita ini (sejak musim 2011/12) memiliki suatu yang jarang dimiliki tim-tim lain, yang mungkin dapat dirangkum ke dalam satu kalimat ini: “The team is stronger than the sum of its parts”.
Selain Asa, pemain-pemain yang mencetak gol di international week kemarin seperti Stephan Lichtsteiner (Swiss, dua gol melawan Iceland) dan Paul Pogba (Prancis, mencetak gol pertamanya untuk timnas saat melawan Belarus) juga diwawancara, kali ini oleh Sky: Namun kedua pemain ini dengan rendah hati tidak berbicara tentang pencapaian mereka, melainkan telah fokus terhadap pertandingan selanjutnya:
Saat ditanya tentang pengaruh dilangsungkannya partai Inter Milan-Juventus seawal ini (dalam sejarahnya, partai Inter Milan-Juventus belum pernah diadakan di giornata ketiga atau sebelumnya), beginilah komentar Lichtsteiner:
“It doesn’t change anything. What matters to us is the quality of our performance, no matter who the opponent is. We know that the Inter side we’re facing will be fired up and determined, but so are we. We’re up against a team who will be fighting for the Scudetto as their main objective, just as we were two years ago. We’ll need to put in a strong performance. The only thing on my mind is winning rather than getting another goal after the ones I scored for Switzerland.”
Lagi-lagi, seperti Asamoah, Lichtsteiner menegaskan pentingnya Juve untuk fokus terhadap permainannya sendiri tanpa mempedulikan siapa lawannya. Tujuannya sekarang adalah kemenangan tim [melawan Inter Milan] daripada mencetak gol lagi seperti saat dia mencetak gol untuk Swiss.
Pogba, juga mengatakan hal yang sama:
“Your first international goal is always special, even though mine wasn’t too hard to put away. Of course I’d like to score again on Saturday, but the success of the Juve team is my main priority. Inter are a strong side whose tactical setup makes them difficult to play against, something we experienced in our recent game against them in the United States. We will have to be careful.”
“The success of the Juve team is my main priority”. Sepertinya, Conte telah berhasil menanamkan pentingnya menaruh keberhasilan tim di atas keberhasilan individual. Forza Conte! Forza Juve!!!
